ISLAMABAD: The allocation of five percent quota for minorities in federal government services is a commendable step, said Minister for Minorities Affairs Shahbaz Bhatti on Sunday. According to a statement issued to the press, he termed the decision a right step towards a right direction. “It will help in economic development, prosperity and welfare of the minorities, as it ensures their basic rights,” he said. staff report
